Endless Loading

Featured Replies

Ever since the latest update my game has been stuck in an endless loading loop although It works fine if I disable my mods folder. All my plugins are up to date. The plugins do load, but after that it'll never load.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this and if so, what did you do to fix it?

If it works fine when you disable the mods folder then that is where the problems is.

The mod folder doesn't update so you will need to edit that. Its probably the update.rpf so you may have to reinstall some mods that are using that.

So copy update/update.rpf to mods/update/update.rpf

Yes but if you have changed anything in the old update.rpf (one in mod folder) some of your mods may not work so you might have to change some stuff in the new update.rpf in your mod folder if that makes sense.

After every update go to OpenIV > Mods folder and it should say "You need to copy the new update.rpf to your Mods folder" - it'll overwrite your old one though, so like Scorponok said, you have to remember what was modified in the update.rpf to put back in, so things like EUP you'll have to reinstall, the vehicles.meta will get overwritten in the process too so save the old one .. Or just paste any changes to the vehicles.meta you made just like when you were installing the car the first time. Visualsettings.dat will be overwritten too, so you'll have to reinstall any visual mod that used that, carcols is used for flash patterns like the Aussie Flash Pattern by Macgregor, so you'll need to reinstall that in the new update.rpf too.
