I need help with using 0.95

Featured Replies

I have LCPDFR 0.95. It didn't work. I updated the patch for 1.0.7 and now every time I try to use Grand Theft Auto IV (not LCPDFR) it crashes a couple of minutes into the game.

Any help?

Are you using any car mods, any other mods besides LCPDFR, if so, uninstall these mods

are you running a legit copy of GTA IV? If so:

  • Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
  • Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
  • Ensure that FirstResponse.net.dll is in the SCRIPTS folder and that AdvancedHook.dll is in the GTA IV ROOT folder.
  • Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
  • Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the SCRIPTS folder.
  • Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the automatic installation.
  • Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.
  • Install these: http://www.microsoft...9f-b21f31ab88b7, http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en
  • Run a diagnostic report (found here: http://goo.gl/QEftp) which will point any errors it can find and will be used later on if you need to post a topic.

I have xlive.dll. It's located at C:Documents and Settings(insert censorship here)Documents100_GTAIV_LAZIC-NIKOLA100_GTAIV_LAZIC-NIKOLA1275678067xliveless-0.999b7

Would it affect the game (probably not) if i cut and pasted it into C:Program FilesRockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IV or should I just copy and paste? (I'ma go ahead and do a copy and paste and tell me if I should delete it.)

If it doesn't work after that, I will post a diagnostics report.

Copied and pasted. If it doesn't work I'll run diagnostics. BTW How do you post diagnostics in the thread/post thingy to where it will have the Show/Hide button thingy?
