Hello,

Here's the problem. EFLC crashes when I try to run it. I got Grand Theft Auto IV Full Edition in russian. I can't install GTAIV cause my CD\DVD ROM fails to read it but I could install EFLC. The original version of installed EFLC was 1.1.0.1 Russian. The game started ok with it but after installing LCPDFR095 RC2 the game crashed on startup. I figured it won't work because I have a russian patch, so I installed a 1.1.0.1. English patch. The problem remains. After that I downloaded the latest patch and tried to install it but failed, here's the log of title update.msi:

I downloaded the latest EFLC patch from rockstargames support. I installed the required software from support guidelines section.

I removed the read only attributes from EFLC and all subfolders but it just gets back to read only after applying.

If any additional information is required please tell me.

The usual error message that EFLC encountered a problem and needs to close, we're sorry for the inconvenience...

Although, there's is some problem with RGSC. I can't run it or uninstall it. Here's the error I get when I try to uninstall it.

interesting..I've never delt with the Russian patch..im not sure if what I do will help.....does the game work without any mods?

I installed English 1.1.1.0 patch on Russian 1.1.0.1 patch but now I can't install 1.1.2.0 English patch. Don't know why...

Probably because you have the Russian edition, and that version is incompatible with the English patch 1120?

OK....I'll uninstall EFLC and install again and will try to run LCPDFR on it and will work from there. This thread can be closed I guess

Regardless if russian or english, i doubt you will be able to play LCPDFR without a patch, try restarting your computer, don't boot up the game, but let everything load, then try and patch your game with the newest patch, which i can't even find in russian, so, try the english version 1.1.2.0

This topic can be closed, I obviously have to install the latest patch, although I have no idea how to do that.

BTW, I reinstalled the game and installed LCPDFR. I got the game working but LCPDFR doesn't start after pressing Alt+P.

I have WinRAR , I have admin rights, I have the patch but it's not installing.

See, i had the same problem, but all i did was reboot my system, then install it, however, that's with EFLC, my GTAIV i had to just uninstall cause it was taking up HD space cause it wouldn't patch

What is required to successfully install latest patch?

BTW, is it normal that I have so many registry data for Rockstar games?
