Received the following Script error

Featured Replies

First post here, so I hope the error I ran across is of use to the development team. Overall, 0.95 RC2 has been working quite well and I've been enjoying it. But today, I received a script error related to Csharp.Engine.Core, which you'll see in the diag tool's log dump. It'll also show the game was running (well) for roughly 2 hours. Once the error occured, I couldn't arrest anyone, so I exited the game and decided to post this error. Without further ado, the dump:

I should mention I have ZERO additional mods installed -- not even a single custom vehicle. (And I thought disabling the phone in SNT was a setting that would save, but apparently not...)

I don't know if this is related or even worth mentioning, but... There were three occasions during my game session where my cop suddenly turned invisible while in the process of arresting someone. A quick trip back to a police station and zoning in and back out fixed it, but it happened again, and then again. And I'm fairly certain (90% or so) that each time it happened, I had the taser equipped.

If there's any additional info needed, just ask.

P.S. I forgot to mention that despite the game showing LCPDFR 0.95 RC2 in the bottom-right corner, I have a red on-screen message above it stating: "A new version is available: 0.95RC2"

usually this can get reset by hitting ~ and typing reloadscripts and hitting enter, this will freeze the game for a moment or two, then you just go back on duty and head to a station

Your invisible cop thing...yea that happened to me to0..I'm at a loss on that...

Well at least I'm not the only one who experienced the invisi-cop issue. I was able to repeat this issue twice more, and it only happened with the taser equipped. Hopefully, that's something which can be fixed. In the meantime, I'll have to remember to disarm the taser prior to making an arrest.

And thanks for the tip on the script reload. I wasn't sure if that would fix the error or not, and figured I should just report it.

Any chance I'm not the only one who gets the red "A new version is available: 0.95RC2" message while playing 0.95 RC2?
