I thought I made a backup but I was wrong if you could help me get it to launch again I will appreciate it need help badly.... I was installing carv and vehicle meta to darkmyers DLC....

 

I will enclose my files in a PM with the person willing to help me figure it out thank you....

In the carvariations.meta, you have the same model with multiple entries. For example, you have defined "police" three times. You only need one entry per vehicle. You're also missing various closing tags, etc.

 

Since it's easier for me to just fix it myself versus telling you everything that's wrong, here's a fixed version.

 

carvariations.meta

 

Vehicles.meta looks okay.

Thank you so much .... for your time .... I've been up with my newborn for hours on end so I lose tract of the answer at times.... I was wondering though when I spawn the Sheriff2 the siren on top is black can u adjust that for me... The changes you made work but can I use the same for the Custom Visual 3.0 Carvs? if not can you adjust accordingly ....I'm with my new son at the moment and it is hard to adjust the proper lines.....

You need to edit the vehicles.meta in \mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5 and under <modelname>sheriff2</modelname> change the diffuseTint value to this:

 

<diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />

I have all the windows tinted but can't see out of it in first person ... I don't have any software to fix the window..

just change the sirenSettings in the carvariations to whichever from that mod, like 14.

 

Not sure what you mean about the window tint? You still talking about the Tahoe Cobra? it comes with different .png files for the windows.

ok I got mine from a third party to the actual model ... I think he layered it to dark when in first person you can't see anything out the window because it is black..

Have you checked first person since adjusting the diffuseTint?

yea the siren is fine but not the windshield to see through....
