GTA V with LSPDFR and Story Mode

Featured Replies

I just got gta yesterday and I just found out about lspdfr. It looks very cool and I'm thinking about downloading it, however is it possible to have all of the LSPDFR mods enabled and still play the campaign/story? Because as far as I'm aware there's no way of having two separate campaigns??

Thanks for the help

You can simply not launch the game with the RPH to ensure that the SP story portion of the game plays normally.

Oh okey, thank you, does this also apply to playing online? Cus as far as I've heard playing online with mods is not a good idea!

You cannot play GTA Online with mods.

To answer the original question, yes it is possible to have RPH and LSPDFR and other plugins loaded while playing through the story. Going on duty may quite likely cause problems (especially at the station, which switches you to a cop ped). I played most of the campaign on PC with mods, the only issue I ever had was with real-time sync enabled, some missions that were time-sensitive you'd fail instantly.

yeah I know I can't play onlinr with mods, but will the mods turn off for mutliplayer if I run the game without RPH?

If you haven't modded the game files, you should be fine with just not running the game with the RPH. Both the RPH and the ScriptHook will crash your game if you try to enter GTA Online - HOWEVER this is not guarantee that it won't get you banned. If you're planning on playing GTA Online, remove all modded files or use two directories.

So in conclusion, you can start gta 5 normally and will not start the RPH. If you do some missions and start by using RPH later, does it use your spot you left off at in story mode?

Im using 2 directories one for story mode the other is for lspdfr. Lspdfr is modded with plugins and openiv. All plugins and mods always went to the lspdfr directory. Now in story mode im having an issue with plugins from lspdfr. Now my original copy is no longer "clean" did certain mods and plugins change or replace original game files?? Should i uninstall gta5 and reinstall and just start from scartch. Why does story mode have lspdfr mods in it??, any suggestions on what i did wrong here.
