Replacing wheels in Zmod3

Featured Replies

I am trying to replace the wheels on a charger but when I spawn it in game there are no wheels on the model. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong or some good tutorials?

First of all, tell us what you are doing to replace the wheel

1.I imported the car and the wheel

2.I aligned it with the wheel that came on the model

3.I moved the wheel meshes under the original wheel to the new one I imported

4. I deleted the wheel that came with the model.

Okay, I know what you are doing wrong now.

Here are new steps:

  1. Import the car and wheel
  2. Align it with the wheel on the car
  3. Dismiss [wheel_lf] (Original wheel)
  4. Delete what appears when you dismiss the wheel
  5. Not having L0, L1, L2, L3, etc on compound [wheel_lf], it should just be a dummy
  6. Click L0 and lock the [wheel_lf] (The one you compounded.)
  7. Make sure the NEW wheel is NOT compounded. (Bold Letters = Compounded, No Bold = Not Compounded.)
  8. With the [wheel_lf] dummy locked drag the NEW wheel into the big grey box UNDER "Convert to Compound" & "Dismiss"
  9. Unlock [wheel_lf]
  10. Center local axes and done
