When I tried to install LCPDFR at the very end I get this:

I also get an error message when I tried to upgrade to the 1.0.7.0 patch for the game using the link to file provided. But I started to look around and found a self intall patch, and putted it in by directing it straight to EFLC and my title update file.

The game worked when I installed it this morning, but when I putted LCPDFR, it stopped working.

what is the error you get when you try to install the patch?

And I am running everything as admin. Thanks in advance for the help.

Download and install GFWL updates or try the other file that came with the patch...think there were two

when you have download the patches . extract and put all the file inside the main directory . it consist of media1.cab , update2note , titleupdate.msi and setup .

you should try both titleupdate ,msi and setup exe . one of those should have at least 1 work .

You don't need to place the files in the directory...Use Setup.exe

When You say extract and put file in main directory, do you mean to just put it inside the EFLC folder? And yes I tried both files it came with. But as far as seeing a "update2note" I don't see that. But I do see a patch7note that just says what the upgrades were about.

I updated it from that site but get the same message. But one thing did happend, The LCPDFR went all the way through and is fully installed. But still won't get pass the sign in page or the Social Club when I hit play.

That's where I got it from. Is this causing the game to crash when I get to the "Social Club"? I downloaded it from Amazon which takes about 18 hrs to download. I still got the window for the download open. Scared to close it just because of stuff like this. And I have install/uninstalled it once already.

Ignore Ahling considering he is telling you to use GTAIV PATCH 7 .... You have EFLC you need http://support.rocks...1-1-2-0-patch-2

Sorry bro, my mistake. Never saw that you are using eflc. You should install eflc 1.120 patch do not follow asuna method

You do not have to place the files into your EFLC directory, just extract them to a folder on your desktop and run it, they will find the install location regardless, if it is a legit copy, it has written it down int he system registry as being in the computer. Please, you are feeding information that should be an option, not a first off strike. Placing the files in the eflc folder will just increase that folders size and have unnecessary files in it

Ok I got a little hang up goning on. This occured after I tried to install the ELS v6. Doe sthis mean I gotta really re-install the game again to get it back working?

And am I using the right ELS for the cars that require ELS?

Is there away of downloading my game from AMAZON to my computer and saving the hard copy there verses having to re-install the whole game from my Amazon account which will take 18hrs. exactly?

Sorry for al the questions at once.

Oh, and if I cant use ELS because of this, then what keys do I push to turn on emergency lights?

I just installed ELS v6 and 2 cars thur SparkIV. I am re-installing it now. Happy I did not closed that download window from amazon yet, saved me 18hrs. lol

But can I save a backup copy somewhere else instead of going through Amazon all the time?

Yes you can, if you have the a 16 gb space (32gb for both IV and EFLC) you can use just copy the contents of C:program files (x86)Rockstar Games and paste else where
