RAGE Plugin Hook Problem

Featured Replies

Hi - new to this community.

I recently installed LSPDFR using the manual installer before updating the RAGE Plugin Hook that comes with it. Tried to run RAGE (.47) but when I do it does not load LSPDFR. Instead it loads GTA as normal but when exiting GTA there is a RAGE pop up on my desktop saying; "Could not hook game process. Insufficient permissions or bad anti virus". I have AVG but have switched it off while trying to launch, I am also the only user on this PC so am an admin. I have checked and redownloaded all the requirements listed on the RAGE website.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling GTA, LSPDFR & RAGE but to no avail. I'm stuck on what to do next as I'm not really an expert, any help is greatly appreciated.

i have the same problem i tried everything re-installing i just get this error all the time

ERROR: Could not hook game process. Insufficient permissions or bad anti-virus.
