Hey fellow officers,

Since the latest GTAV update I have a minor but time consuming glitch. Every time I start-up my game (LSPDFR through RPH) I have to pass the log-in screen for Social club. Every time it asks my password. And every time it says that the password or login is not correct; then I type ENTER again, confirming the exact same password and then it starts up. Also, I always make sure that I marked "remember me" and "auto sign-in" but that obviously does not seem to work. Not only this, but after 5 times of playing, Social club tells me there might be a problem with the login/password and then I need to confirm i'm not a robot and all that sh*t. Not only that, but the whole game start-up progress takes like forever with this procedure.

With my previous version I found some tweek to make the game start up a bit faster; to move the Social club map to the same drive/partition as the game and make a quick-link in the original Social club map. I did that and it worked like a glove but not anymore with the latest update.

Besides that, my game has never run so smooth with all the new updates.

 

Anybody any ideas how to bypass that login thing?

Have you tried going to the Social Club website and signing it?  It should connect.   Tick 'stay logged in forever/stay signed in'.

Nope haven't tried that yet. I'll go and try that.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what else to try.  Social Club should be automatically signing you in each time. 

 

You could try singing in via your browser, and leaving the browser open.

yeah, I was just snooping around in the Social club site and found somewhere in settings that my email-address was not confirmed yet. so I resend it and now I should get a confirmation mail and such...maybe it was that.

When you launch the game normally, does it react the same way? (via GTA 5 exe)

yes, apparently it does. so it definitely has something to do with my Social club connection something somewhere for some reason...

Unfortunately, I can't offer you much more help as it seems to be something with social club.  Only thing I can say is to mess around with social club and see if you try and find a workaround.

Heeeey, don't apologize for trying to help. Tanx for getting me new ideas to try out.

I really would like it fixed as now it takes frustratingly long to open the game (not to mention the process of logging in, getting wrong password message, login again, wait an eternity) but if that is just my only problem...than I'm a happy, just a tad frustrating, man.
