Hy guys,

i´m working on replacing the ingame cars with the reallife cars.

I´ve replaced at this time between 70-80 Cars and now i want to share my project with the community.

Now i want to post some pictures of my work.

Please ignore some issues on the cars,i´m editing the handling at the end ;)

I want to give you some advice, if you want to make car pack for Gta V without crashing, you should use vehicles with polycount not higher than 100k. Also, too high poly model's cause fps drops in a large amount of traffic. 
I made this list https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xTAmxVhw1MJT2sdpr_UZpgpIot3XRliE3KBV_DQI8JU/edit?usp=sharing with cars not higher than 100k.

And other advice, better to make this car pack like a rockstar patch, via new rpf, which one don't will replace vanilla files. Because a lot of easier to put all cars in one rpf, instead of  put it  in a lot of patchday's rpf

Not using LODs on your cars makes them very unprofessional and run horribly in your game. It's extremely impractical without them.

Kinda sad that like over 50% of the models on gta5-mods.com don't even have any LODs, or any proper LODs...

99% of people dont' care about optimization. And unfortunately it's okay for user's to have 600k poly car in game instead default 60k, and after that they asking why they game crashed and lagged

And when they include LODs, they are either so low quality that the car looks like shit already when you are just looking at it from across the street, or the LODs are all the same model with just tiny details removed, better than nothing but still not really an big improvement (I did this with my old Polara Taxi model, I have learned since then, don't worry)

Hey guys,thx for your advices,i will see what i can.

I´ve got no problems with the game performance,runs really good,the only problem is that some car models disappear when they are far away,you can only see the driver but no car model.

99% of the time, the models are locked. Then there's nothing you can do about it. I'd spend some time looking into all of the models that don't have LODs and not using them. Find a model that does have complete LODs.
