Alright so i have a few things that went honkey dorey on me after the update.....

 

 

 fbi2 will not update given multiple replacements... - attempting to use the 2015 chevy suburban

police4 the siren works but lights will not flash.... - using bxbugs UM Impala..

 

Any suggestions??

Lets work on these one at a time.   Just to make sure, for the fbi2, are you using a mods folder?

It doesn't matter if he was using a mods folder. What he needs to clarify is if he put it in the right vehicles.rpf folder.

I'd recommend using patchday9ng's vehicles.rpf for your car mods. Patchday9 or anything above that with a vehicles.rpf inside of it. Patchday10, patchday11, I don't know what has the rpf, I'd just use 9.

As for the Impala, make sure you read everything in the read-me or followed the instructions step by step. I know Bugs is notorious for having some wacky installations.

True. Usually mod packages (.oiv) packages have issues unless used in a mods folder.

Ok, I CTRL F3'd for FBI2, and I will re work that one later. The police4(Impala) Is in x64e and vehicles.meta was updated for the correct versions of the car.

Yes, I have the fbi2 in the mods folder.

If you haven't already (if it's still not working), try putting "fbi2" in the very latest patchday that has a vehicles.rpf.

Does it have to replace a vehicle, or just place it in?

No, it doesn't have to replace another fbi2, just throw it in.  Being in the latest patchday should force it to work.

Just popped it in...standby

 

EDIT:

 

Got it working. I also tried doing the same with the police4, still no luck, however i did notice with brights on, the takedowns on the interior lightbar work. With the siren, the passenger head light turns on and off lol still nothing with red and blues though.

My police4 is in patchday9 (the latest for me - on an older version) and is working, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be appearing.  Verify that you're adding it in the latest patchday, and that there's no other police4 files ahead of it.
