Can't pull cars over. Shift not working, HELP!

Featured Replies

I have the latest of everything from LSPDFR, Scripthook, ScripDotNet, ScripthookV, and everything else I need to run the game.

I am able to get into the game no problem.  I can go on duty and even respond to calls, but for some reason I cannot seem to pull over any cars.  My left shift key works fine and I use it in the game a lot, but nothing happens when I get behind a car, hitting shift, holding shift, hitting it 100 times, nothing.  So I try turning on the police siren and lights, hitting shift still does nothing.  The car in front of me pulls over because of my lights and siren, but the soon move on.  Nothing activates, there is no blip, or anything showing me that I can pull over their car.

I have played LCPDFR fro GTA IV since the day it came out, so I understand well the shift and pull over feature.  I  am getting no response from GTA V pulling cars over.

You are a life saver, that you so much.  That was it.  You rock and saved me days of heart ache.  Thank you.

While you are here do you know much about adding police cars such as BXBugs LAPD?  It comes as police4, but I don't want to lose my unmarked car so I want to add it to police slot, but when I do, the lights don't work correctly.  Some are on, some are off, some stay on, and some are non responsive.  Its works in police4, but I dont' want it there.  You know anything about that?

read readme, it will require some carvariation.meta and probably vehicles.meta changes. Open .oiv file as archive to install it manually

I guess what I am confused by is that BxBugs car wasn't an oiv, it was literally ONLY the 4 car files  for "police4" slot.

He has a file called "assembly".  Where do I put this info.  He is not specific and assumes we all already know.  Here is what the file looks like

Hey Vladimir, since you have been so helpful, I have another quick question for you.  I am having this weird glitch with my vehicles now.  Not sure if it came from the the Radiance mod or what, but as I am driving my headlights seem to turn off and on by themselves.  This makes it impossible to drive at night.  Is there a fix for this?

Trying it out right now, thank you.  I am assuming the issue is coming from the recently installed RadianceV mod for my police lights, and yeah something having to do with the visualsettings file.  I will try it and let you know.  Thanks

Nope, didn't work.  I am not sure if the mod is actually working though.  I did what it said by putting it into my script folder.  Did nothing.  Then put it in the addins folder in my script folder and still nothing.  Am I suppose to put it somewhere else?

Very strange, but I think I figured it out.  I think its related to the PostFX setting in my options menu.  I was running it at Ultra and this issue was constantly happening.  I lowered it to Very High and now it sometimes happened, but rarely.  Then I put it on high and I can't seem to get it to do it.  Humm, very strange.  Graphics card issue maybe?
