May 8, 201213 yr ok so i installed a fresh new install of gta and then i run it as administrator no mod's but the problem is the first time i installed lcpdfr it crash OK i wasn't worried but i installed the game a 2 time and wen i ran it no mod's it didn't work and i do not know what to do please help love the mod want to play and be a active community member but can't :( PS: my copy is a legit copy bought it for steam Edited May 8, 201213 yr by broblemssuck01

May 9, 201213 yr Alright, the report appears clean, but doesn't have information from the .NET ScriptHook log. Usually after you run the game and it crashes, the diagnostic tool will also report what the .NET ScriptHook log also says, and it is in that log that specific crashes due to scripts are noted. You can find this log file (called ScriptHookDotNet.txt) in the root directory of your game's folder. Just for the sake of troubleshooting, when you installed the mod, where there any errors? Did you install the mod by "Running as Administrator" with the game's root folder not marked as "Read-only?" Lastly, are you using LaunchGTAIV.exe with "Run as Administrator" enabled? Usually people with clean diagnostic logs don't follow these steps. And even if they do, sometimes a reinstall of the mod and/or the game helps. I see you have tried reinstalling the game and it didn't work without any mods. This indicates that your game itself has problems. Did you completely remove everything from where the game was installed before reinstalling it? The uninstaller may have not deleted any mods that you had in the game. Also, are you loading saved games after you start the game? If so, try backing up your saved game, then deleting it to see if it will work. May 9, 201213 yr The error log cuts off without finishing loading the scripts, so unless you are missing some of the text, this should indicate that the game has problems loading the scripts. I suggest you try reinstalling the mod, which helped other users that had clean error logs. If it still doesn't work after that, try using xliveless as your ASI loader instead of dsound. May 9, 201213 yr Alright, you've previously left out the most important parts of the log, LOL! Now I know what's causing your crashes. Your computer appears to be missing some C++ and .NET dependencies that are needed to run the mod. Even if you have these already, try reinstalling Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2010. This should help, as it helped others who had the same crash error. Make sure to completely clean out all traces of the game, including any files that are left over in Program Files and in your AppData folders. It is also true that you should at least play the game up to having your first safe house and saving it there before playing LCPD:FR, because some people have trouble using the mod while starting a new game at the same time. I don't know what advice to give you if you can't even run the vanilla copy of the game, because there could be a myriad of problems wrong with your computer that can be causing the game to malfunction like this. Are you absolutely sure that you cleaned out all traces of GTA IV after uninstalling and prior to reinstalling? And what do you mean by "shimmers?" Is the game window shaking, or the screen flickering, or something else?
