I have a question about replacing vehicle files...
How do I go about changing a downlable file that has police2 to a police4 file?
Same thing with the fbi file or a sheriff file?

2. Highlight police2.
3. Type police4.
4. Hit Enter

I think that's a little vague... could you be more specific? Don't you have to go into the car variations folder or...?

Nope, it's literally renaming the files in the zip or rar

This might be obvious, but just to be safe, only replace the actual name. (IE police)  Always leave the .ytd, .yft, etc.

yeah that's what I figured. Although I tried to replace the name and it doesn't give me the option to edit the file name or anything. do I have to go into openiv?

Nope!  Right click on the file, and you'll see a rename option. :)
