I recently had a chance to use the great MOD ALPR+ in GTAV/LSPDFR.  

I had used the f5 Radar a few times and its a great tool as well. But I had trouble keeping track of the vehicle once it left the radars sight while trying to catch up. I guess that will come in time and getting use to how to set up a rad trap

The ALPR+ gave me the ability to sit and wait for the traffic I wanted to pull over. Even while patrolling I got some great hits for wanted persons and stolen cars that I would have missed.  I had some crazy car chases resulting in good arrests.  If you haven't tried it, I would tell you, give it a shot.
