Turn down brightness of lights

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

Just a quick one. I've downloaded the British Police Pack and on some of the vehicles, the lights are A LOT brighter than some other vehicles. Is there a way to lower the brightness (or even turn the brightness up) on the police lightbar for the vehicles

Thanks for your help.

I believe light brightness depends on both the size of a lighting module (a Quadraflare will be much brighter than a Vertex LED hideaway) and the lightness of the texture itself. So, you could open the .ytd texture library for the vehicles that have overly bright lights, find the emissive textures and try to edit them (make them darker). Save the original in case that doesn't work.
