ELS Help "Error in script 'CSharp.Engine.Core'!"

Featured Replies

Hi All,

So I have recently restored my computer to factory settings, since doing so I have been unable to get into GTA IV when the ELS is working. Each time I enter GTA a message appears on top right showing: Error in script 'CSharp.Engine.Core'!.

When spawning a police vehicle, random lights on the light bar stay on. It does not allow me to turn the Blue lights on, nor will it allow me to get to the ELS control panel. If I turn the sirens on, on the sound is present and the lights which are stuck on remain.

I have done so many things to resolve this including:

Uninstalling and reinstalling all the Microsoft C++

Googled for help:

Checked the Visualdat setting

I have installed the pack which I have and it does work as others have installed it and it is simple the ELS and it seems like that my computer is missing something but I really cant figure out what. Help would be much appreciated. - Please note: I am really not a techy so when helping please if you could try and make it simple (No Jargon) that would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Alex

Hey,

So I never have this issue before but I would like to use my knowledge try to help you.

If it is ELS problem, delete all els files and reinstall ELS V8 at lcpdfr website,

Do not replace the common file which is visualdatsetting and scripts hook files(if you already have lcpdfr installed for scriptshooks file),

Then copy the files that left in download fodler to your GTAIV folder. Expect common and scripts files,

======================================================================================

Important:

1, If you have dafult game visualdatasetting file, go to common-data, open visualdatesetttings by notepad, then find #car sirens#, edit each line from picture#1 to #3,

1.1, If your visualdatasetting file already replaced by els common-data, then download this dafult data below and replaced in your game folder, then repeat step#1 from important section.

I hope this could help you with this problem.

Hi there,

Thanks for your response, I do apologise for the delay in replying.

I have attempted to carry out the instructions you have provided which unfortunately still have not helped with the situation and the circumstances I laid out above remain the same.

Do you have any other solutions at all?

Did you check your ELS settings are turned on?

Go to GTAIV game folder, then go to ELS folder, open file named: _SLOTCONTROL. Make sure you keep the car that you use, lights at ON, then you should be able to control ELS in the game.

Hope this could help you.
