GTA 5 crashes as soon as the game window opens

Featured Replies

Hello. I am trying to get ragehook .42 to work with v791 of GTA 5 and it seems impossible. I have tried all the regular suggestions from the ragehook forums, but nothing helps.

Ragehook does its initial loading thing and then says waiting for game window for about 15-30 seconds then the game window opens and immediately the game crashes.

I have attached my launcher.log which has the crash info and my RagePluginHook.log which does not show any crash info.

The game runs fine if not launching through ragehook and there are absolutely no other mods installed.

EDIT: GTA 5 now crashes itself with the same error, but only when I exit the game.
