Speaking of Siren Mastery, anyone got a pre-biker update (RPH v36 I think it is, unsure) version of Siren Mastery? Albo's updated it and removed the old version for d/l  I'm still unwilling to update at this stage..

So many issues with 47. I'm seriously regreting updating. haha, ahh well.

 

 

Also, anyone know if there's a Ambulance Subaru forester in the works? I know there's a sprinter in among the works just curious about a subaru.

Moose sent me a Forester model, but at this point i've not done much work on it and its not a top priority.

Those British models are well done, I personally have thought about using them but I really don't like blue on blue lights, and BMW cop cars just feel foreign and weird to me too.

The irony of this image is that the officer parked illegally across a driveway to issue a parking ticket to an illegally parked vehicle. However this isn't an issue, because as we all know, Police officers are infact above the law.

I usually try to keep the PgUp cooltext "custom made watermark" away from the subject matter, however I pressed something during the session and didn't realise that the FPS counter was up, so PgUp is covering the FPS counter on every image with the thingo in the top left, except it didn't cover it all so I had to actually exercise minimal skill and clone out the remaining numbers, so if some areas in the top left look dodgy and touched up, that's because it is, so.. Sorry to anyone who may actually like to use these as their desktop.

I'm pretty salty that it's been "coming soon" for over a year now, and the last teaser was about 4-6 months ago which showed the mod fully working (and I think with no door bug either)

Software development is complicated, just because something works in a particular use case, doesn't necessarily mean it's ready for release. In terms of the RPH's ability to hook the in-game sirens, I looked into it and it's a little more complicated than slapping on a UI and some patterns (not that those are easy tasks).

 

TL;DR Programming can be difficult and time consuming, things like ELS or LSPDFR have the added challenge of being hobby projects of others so they'll take a fair amount of time.

I'm not a complete jerk, I know these things take a lot of time and effort. I am actually gonna admit, genuinely surprised it's been this long. Although, I'm not sure how long after release ELS IV came out, so maybe this is the normal time frame for that kinda mod, not sure, wasn't around on PC for GTA IV.

ELS IV was a really basic system, it was literally a script which spawned extras at particular times

When ELS for IV came out it was really basic and featureless so it took a short time to develop, it's a different beast now.

That only happend because els was designed to repair the car when the lights were activated so the mod thought when the doors were opened it would repair.

It was never a bug people just thought it didn't look right so they called it a "bug" it was basically repairing the car.

It was a bug because it was an unwanted side affect. But yes you are right in saying how it worked. It worked by spawning and despawning various extras to make them flash. The problem was that everytime you add an extra the vehicle repairs
