Only problem I got with the Hilux is that the whole bumper comes off with a single, teeny tiny nudge, something you can fix in vehicles.meta though, I remember the FPIU (Taurus) (F5544's maybe?) did it, the fix is adding some flags I think. It's in the car's readme what the bullbar fix was.
Otherwise spawns fine etc.

When I updated my game, scripthook and RPH I never had an issue with my extras or anything from what I could see when I atleast could load in and roam only Franklin's neighbourhood, cars still spawned fine and when I put my lights on it didn't have those weird texture issues, just couldn't go downtown without the game crashing.

 I remember once my game did that for fire trucks and ambulance's, but not to that extent, the rear lights would flash on the side and about 10 metres away from the car, etc, clean game install fixed it.

I think that's what's being used for improved environment lighting, think you had to make your own flash pattern for it though.
Alternatively Macgregor has already done that for you and mashed improved environment lighting into his flash pattern mod with the added bonus benefit of fucking off Coronas.
Gotta use the flash pattern to get the improved environment light, right now it just flashes rool fast in a single pattern and is seizure inducing but should be a real accurate flash pattern coming soon with switching patterns from what we saw in his video.  

 

 

Backtracking for a second, fuuuck I actually nearly forgot Bulldog was releasing a firetruck, I'm super mega ass fuckin' keen for it too, it's been so long since we heard anything about it last :wacko: How's goes it?

not to concerned about environmental lighting, i have macgregors flash patters installed. just looking at something to increase the brightness of the lightbars

Its well and truly getting there the lights went on today until i realised the update lastnight changed someting now i have to fix the lightingto work again and then a few other bits and pieces and shes done ive been waiting so long for the lights to work and they play up on me like that lol but i guess you have to expect that. ignore the floating wheels lol DBkLFUY.jpg

I have no extra or siren problems whatsoever on the new update- My game is working perfectly but just the occasional crash

I had that problem when developing the paddy wagon too, the flag_extras_strong (it goes something like that) is what fixes it. But if you used my vehicles.meta lines that should've already been included

I Figured out it was Macs Flash Petterns Carcols that was causing the issues now its been removed everything works fine....

I had the issue with the lights being huge when activated, but it only seemed to affect the hilux (policet).

 

When I moved carcols.meta (with only pattern 69 inside) to my /eup/ dlc pack (being the bottom one on the dlclist) it worked fine, except for the fact that the patterns aren't exactly what they used to be. It still flashes red then blue, but not all the red/blue ones activated at the same time.

Is that on the hilux? because the hilux hasn't been tailored for aussie flash patterns so it's lights will probably flash weird.

If you're talking about one of my vf's or one of moose's later models acting weird, then yeah we have a problem

I had (haven't played in a few weeks - work 😑) - problem with the sportswagon. Very occasionally I get large LED textures hanging off each side. Restart fixes it and it's inconsistent and prior to the current patch.

Thought I did use your lines, the prisoners sit weird  in the back too, so maybe I didn't do it properly, it went into the RDE vehicles.meta (car is in my RDE file too instead of the normal install location) because that's last to load, I'll put it in some others see if that works. 

If that weird flash texture issue is a carcols thing, that might explain why I didn't experience it, my cars are all set to sirensetting=1 until the next flash pattern comes out but my carcols was edited for aussie flash patterns. Could be something to do with custom siren settings then?

oh yeah that always happened for me as well, mostly happened when ai was driving it with sirens on

it was just a regular led hanging off the side
