Agreed. We have some pretty awesome unmarked cars but there's no consistency on lighting. 

Even individual teams will have different light setups for every car in the team. Have seen a few really nice ones recently with the antennas built in to the c-pillars of the cars so you can't even see the aerials.

Haha don't worry it will be awhile before my one is released unless people want it but something tells me DOJ skins aren't going to be very popular lol

and Sheriff is just one of those words that is common to get wrong lol.

Well for one that is definitely not the skin it comes with. Are you sure it's using the right .ytd?

Just chucked whatever came in file when I downloaded it into the rpf, deleted all police YTD and ytf's (don't think there was a _hi.ytf only _hi for textures) and chucked them in fresh instead of replacing, same thing.

Im amazed and confused. 

Edit: the skin was Vicpol, pic was taken before I deleted police YTD and ytf files and imported again.

its in the RDE folder, but still in the police slot, and others running RDE don't seem to have the same issue.

Does it show up like that in game as well? That's how mine shows in openiv but works fine in game.

Evoke template is the exact same as the SS apart from the bumper ;) even then my nz skin worked perfect without any changes.  Le'Mac is the master of templates

Love it, The problem I found with aviation fire rescue the highest resolution crest you can get is like 200x100

You should make a Aviation Fire Rescue skin for one of those airport fire trucks

@PgUp it looks like you've got the wrong .ytd, or the wrong textures in one anyway.

and back on the p plate thing, i thought that L and P players had to have plates but full licensed drivers could have plates on and it just doesn't make any difference.

i don't know where I heard that I just thought it was a thing

I've had people ask me about this before, and my answer is it's possible, but at a cost.

because you can't change flash patterns in game yet, the messageboard would always be flashing. Personally I don't like the idea of this because it just looks bad

the second problem is the amount of siren slots, there aren't enough. There are 20 slots available, and you need enough for red flashes, blue flashes, flashes that are one and two steps behind each other and wig wags. A messageboard would take up 3 of these slots and that would make life much more difficult for modders. I am trying to find a way to create more slots however, so this problem might not be permanent

Now all we need is a sprinter amirite?
