Hello everyone, I am having this problem and I hope people can help me figure out how to fix it.

I have an Intel Core I5 6600k, GTX 970 FTW+ 4GB, and 16GB of DDR4 2400Mhz ram.

 

When I load ingame and have all my settings at default, my game would crash when I try to access story mode or online

When I run the game in safe mode and turn it back to my res of 1920x1080 with fullscreen on, it works as the settings are down to normal and not the default preset which really makes me mad as I know I can run the game at very high settings.

 

please help :(

    Try deleting settings.xml from Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA V
    You will need to redo your settings after doing that.
