I've just downloaded GTA IV on steam, any ideas on how I could get started using LCPDFR?

Hey man, i was in your spot a few weeks ago, except I have EFLC. :)

Go to the Downloads button on the top-right of this website, and download .95 RC2 LCPDFR, and it will tell you what you need.

If you have it all, then you put in your directory which you will find by going through your Steam directory all the way to Common/.

Then it installs automatically. Most other things have a read me file inside to tell you more specifically. :)

To make sure everything goes good during the installation, make sure your GTA IV folders are not checked as "Read Only", and make sure you run the LCPDFR installation as administrator.

Hope you have a nice time playing LCPDFR with GTA IV!

Thanks :D I'm buying an original copy of GTA IV from a store anyway, do i need to download any scripts before downloading LCPDFR?

You do not have to download any scripts other than LCPDFR, no.

hi. do you need to have the actual GTA 4 to get LCPDFR?

Don't bump up old threads. Don't thread hijack either. The answer to your question? Yes, you need a legitimate copy of it. Meaning you actually pay for it. Not click a download link from some torrent site,
