Getting Started/Leaving Story Mode/Keyboard Help

Featured Replies

When I double click on the ragehook I get loaded into story mode.  I can see the menu pressing F4, but I can't figure out how to leave story mode.  It won't let me get away from trying to steal the car in the open.  Please let me know what I am doing wrong as I would love to get into LSPDFR!

Also, I couldn't figure out how to open a car door with the keyboard even if I tried to "play along" with stealing the car.  Is there a detailed keyboard tip sheet somewhere?

Thanks for your help with what I am sure is an easy question -- but not for me!

Your thread has been moved to LSPDFR Support Requests as it is not a LCPDFR Support Request.

Hello there - Welcome, and thanks for trying out LSPDFR. We require all members to read the provided ReadMe and User Documentation before getting support. Please keep in mind that this is a beta version of LSPDFR - we cannot guarantee that all issues have been resolved.

You can find the user manual in your LSPDFR Download folder. If you still have questions after reading the User Documentation, review the LSPDFR FAQ; http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/51162-lspdfr-frequently-asked-questions/.

Ensure you have a folder titled "LSPDFR" and "plugins" in your root directory.

  • The plugins folder should contain the following;
    • LSPD First Response.dll
    • A folder titled "LSPDFR"

Ensure that you are running a supported version of LSPDFR. As of 2016-02-22 ONLY LSPDFR 0.3.1 is supported - No LSPDFR 0.2 plugins are supported for LSPDFR 0.3.1 unless otherwise stated

Make sure you have the latest RagePluginHook (LSPDFR 0.3.1 includes RPH 36): http://ragepluginhook.net/

Please do so now and return to this topic when this is done and do the following;

  • Give a clear, detailed description of the problem.
  • Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem.
  • State what solutions you have tried.
  • State which version of the game you're using (Steam or Retail)
  • Post the RagePluginHook.log in a spoiler tag (Please be courteous and only include the relevant information).
  • Include as much information as possible.
  • Post your system specifications. You need to meet the required system specifications for the mod to work properly.
  • Post what other mods you are using.
  • Post a screenshot of your GTA V Game directory.

 Failure to follow these instructions may result in topic closure.

I have read the features guide, installation guide, FAQ, and attempted to find a solution to this in the forum.  I would truly appreciate assistance to what I am sure is an easy problem to get past if one knows how to get started.

Clear description of the problem:  My problem is when I start LSPDFR I have police station locations show up but I am in story mode and can't get away from the opening scene where you steal a car in order to get the the police station.

Solutions I tried:  I tried reading all materials I could find, watching video on youtube from someone who showed how to start LSPDFR, tried to teleport to the police station, tried to walk to the police station.

Setup description:  I am using the PC version and not Steam.  My computer is having no issue running GTA V or LSPDFR so system requirements are not the issue.

Mods I am using:  I am using the callouts utilized by FirstThirtyMinutes.  I used links as provided in his YouTube description.

Again, I would truly appreciate help with what I assume is an easy fix.  I am a self-reliant PhD who can figure out most things and will use resources to get past things when at all possible.  I simply can't find this answer.  Thank you to anyone who helps.  I look forward to being a good member of the community for years to come..
