I made a custom skin for bxbugs's cvpi but it's not spawning in game, what did I do wrong?

vicz_sign_1.dds

Make sure you are Replacing on of the original skins. I see your file is also named vicz_sign, I don't have any of BxBug's models installed so I can't verify, but most others use cvpi_sign_# as their convention, if he's using the same then your file should be named the same. Though if you use Replace then this won't be an issue.

If you know a model of his that doesn't use OIV installer files I would be happy to test it for you. I just won't mess up my game installing his stuff, and it looks like he still uses them.

1. Make sure that you are using the correct Pixel Format (e.g "DXT5") and the correct MiniMap (e.g "1")

2. You don't have to worry about 1 if you replace the current livery

3. Make sure your replacing the correct livery, many moders include the texture template in the ytd which can be confused for the set livery

4. Not all cars support multiple liveries, which means only the 1st preset will spawn

I'd suggest replacing one of his current skins.

Yes that's what I am doing, I don't even know how to create another one D:

The skins are called vicz_sign. About the model: I can send you the files, but the OIV installer just adds the model in a dlc folder and doesn't replace the original sheriff files

1 & 2. I click replace and select my livery but both the pixel format and mipmap are wrong. How can I fix them?

3. I am certain that I am replacing the right livery, when I look in the .yft files it shows my livery

4. This car does support multiple liveries and I also put my livery as the first one, so even if it didn't support multiple skins it should load anyway

Click on "Properties" on the top right (when you have the ytd open)
