Really need help trying to understand how GTA 5 lights work:

Featured Replies

Hey Everyone, Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me.

I don't know Why GTA 5 lights are so hard for me to grasp and work on. I understand how GTA 4 lights worked with ELS which I thought was a challenge in itself but GTA 5 puts it on a whole new level of confusing.

I have two light bars on this vehicle I'm building but the lights are obviously not position correctly on where they should be when they are flashing. I have the lights themselves set on the lightbar housing itself however as you can see in the attached photos they are all over the place other than where they should be.

Can someone teach me what I am doing wrong with sirens? I've read this topic:

But I am having a hard time understanding how it works still. I get the idea of what each number is used for in regards to how it faces however the rest of it might as well be in another language because thats about how much I understand of it lol.

Thanks Again.

Thanks Delta I took that one as well and read through it.

Really seem to still be struggling with this (Yea this long in fact lol) I've made a video of what I am doing to try and see if someone can see where I am making a mistake with my lighting. Its a little long but I cut out everything other than 1 lightbar that I'm working on to see if maybe someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. You can also see me ALT Tabbing to the Zmodeler website following the instructions along with in game results.

Heres the video:
