Radiance mod not working?... Installed correctly

Featured Replies

Radiance mod isn't working for me? Atleast I don't think so. It's kind of weird. Might be because of my ENB but unlikely. I installed it correctly and everything. The lights (For any and almost all cars except for Lundy's 1994 LAPD Caprice) is either completely white or light-ish whatever color it should be. And the light isn't very bright either... :/ Please help! Thanks. Jester

I know this has been talked about already but do you have your Post FX and Shader set to high? What ENB are you using and did the ENB come with a visualsettings file?

Yeah and visualV and no. I'm using the radiance one or whatever. Definitely ain't the one that came with the ENB.

Hmm that's quite odd. So you're saying that it only seems to work with one of Lundy's cars?

Yeah which I mean I doubt it actually works since the lightbar is completely blue/red (It's the 1994 LAPD Caprice... Kind of hard for it to turn white)

Thats so weird. Maybe try to open the Visualsettings file in the GTA V file path and check if it says edited by BxBuggs123 on the top.

I'm honestly not sure why Radiance V isn't working for you as I have Visual V installed as well. If no one else can help you, try contacting BxBuggs123.

Tried messaging him... Says he can't receive messages. :/ Well shit now what?

My only recommendation is that you install a new clean version of the game then install Radiance V.

Make sure your POST FX is on high or ultra, and when you're installing the visualsettings file, delete the existing one and put in the file from the pack

ooo I didn't think about deleting it. I might try that next and yeah Post FX has already been on high as default for my game and then I turned it to higher or whatever is next.

Didn't work. Created a new game entirely, only installed LSPDFR. Ragehook, and radiance (And a few vehicles) and that's it

Send me an image of a random car with your emergency lights on.

It's fine... I just reinstalled my game, and didn't install Radiance... Fuck it. The vehicles I use are specially made by someone very awesome on here, so there's not much of a reason for radiance with the way they make their vehicles.

This issue is so annoying. What I had to do was in OpenIV delete the visualsettings file out of the (mods update>update.rpf>common> data) and then also in OpenIV delete it out of the actual game "update" folder (update>update.rpf>common> data). Then go to Steam and click on library, right click on the Grand theft auto 5, click on properties, click on local files, and then click "Verify integrity of the game files", let it do its thing, it will replace the normal visual settings file in OPENIV in the original "update" folder for the game (update>update.rpf>common> data). Take that file and drag it to the desktop. Go into the mods folder (mods>update>update.rpf>common> data) and then place it in there. Now you have the original visualsettings file in both locations. I recommend a shutdown and reboot of your computer. Then I also recommend you load the game up normal (not ragehook). Once you get to the screen where it has "quit, settings, story mode" lined up at the bottom, you can hit "quit". Now go download a fresh copy of RADIANCE V. Install it as you would normally in OpenIV (mods>update>update.rpf>common> data). Once again I recommend you do a complete shutdown and reboot. Now launch the game with Ragehook and boom you should be good to go! (Jan 2019)
