Everytime I edit files in OpenIV, my game is broken

Featured Replies

Hey guys, every time I try to edit a texture, I cannot open the game, I mess it up with OpenIV all the time, even when I do it 1:1 like people show it in tutorials :(

I am especially having a problem with DashCamV and there logo file you have to insert in OpenIV, could somebody help me :O?

What's so difficult to understand when the readme file of DashcamV says:

3. Drag & drop "DashcamV.dll" and "DashcamV.ini" into the Plugins folder of your GTA V directory.

4. Using OpenIV, place the logos.ytd in update\update.rpf\x64\textures\script_txds.rpf (use your mods folder if you have it).

I mean, we can't make it clearer than that. You go at that location and import the logos.ytd file.

As for vehicle textures, there's literally no way to fail it. You open the car .ytd file, search for the car liveries and replace them with the ones you want.
