Hi I have a problem with Gta v. When ever I try to play offline the launcher say cannot connect to activation server. Internet connection is required for activation, and then it closes the game. It works just fine with an Internet connection. I have already activated the game and have read that it should only need to activate once. I have looked at various forums and websites but have not been able to fix it. I use the steam version of the game. My internet goes out a lot and that would mean lots of time of not being able to play. If any one knows how to fix this problem of not being able to play offline please let me know.

Try putting steam into Offline Mode 

to do so go to (on the steam app) Steam > Go Offline
