Conch's Callouts

A novices attempt at a callout pack

Hey guys, I am excited to announce my new callout pack, Conchs Callouts! The immediate release of this pack was pretty bad, to be upfront. I released it way to early in the development stages, but that is okay. I was eager. However now I am planning some major updates, and I am excited to share the ideas!

Future Updates:

  • Removing Active Shooter and Indecent Exposure callouts
    • Active Shooter was mainly a play ground for me to test out some things. I didn't even release the full version, just one where you get in a shootout. I had a big vision for this callout, however I have no intentions on following through
    • Indecent Exposure I thought was an original one. However, after some looking into it, I see that there is another callout pack that includes this. It is not right of me to have it, so I will be removing it.
  • Updating Silver Alert
    • I plan on adding a lot more locations for this callout. Currently there are 6. 3 in the city, 3 outside of the city. Currently it gets your position and picks the closest one, so if you are patrolling in one 'beat' then you get the same location. I will be fixing that.
    • I also plan to add more scenarios to play out. Currently there are only 2 scenarios:
      • He refuses and flees from you
      • You detain him and bring him home
    •
  • Adding new callouts
    • Police Requesting Prisoner Transport
      • You know how you always call for a transport? Well, now some other officers are calling for one. Will you help them like they help you?
        • Planning to add different scenarios inside the transport, such as getting attacked, or the prisoner trying to jump out, etc..
    • Person Tagging a Building
      • This person is a known gang leader, trying to spread the name of his gang and claim some territory. However, someone spotted him!  Get to the area quick and find the tagger.

If you are a callout developer and you see a future plan that is a copy/clone/idea that you had planned, talk to me and we can work it out, so we aren't producing the same content.

I am looking for Beta Testers for the new launch of Conch's Callouts! If interested please PM me.

Obviously it's your call, but you shouldn't feel you need to remove a callout just because someone else has released a similar callout. Personally I find its great when there are several different versions of the same type of callout, as it adds to the level of randomness - if there's 3 packs that have an Indecent Exposure callout, thats at least 3 possible outcomes everytime I accept the call, which sure beats "oh, its callout blah, I just have to go here, do this, bam done, call PT/coroner/towtruck and move on". I'm pretty sure theres some overlap in almost all of the callout packs.... and hey, at least you're adding more value to the game than the one guy thats making cheap ripoffs of everyones callouts with bad engrish lol

Please do not PM me for technical support or bug reports, use the appropriate forum or plugin's comments instead.

I believe you are referring to my callout pack when talking about the Indecent Exposure call? Don't feel you have to remove it because I'm not going to force you or demand you remove it cause I got there first, if you want to make the callout then go right ahead! Be my guest, if anything it would be interesting to see what others can do with the idea.
