script for removing weapons from peds

As we all know, peds in GTA are more often than not packing heat, which obviously results in some ridiculous situations during patrols in the ghetto areas (gangstas pulling guns every time you arrest anyone there etc.). What I'd ideally like to see is a script that sets these peds as unarmed for a more realistic experience- not everyone is packing IRL. Perhaps it could allow for a few peds to have guns for variety. There's already a mod for unarmed cops, so maybe this won't be too difficult to look at.
