Yah, i guess the only way you could work around it is if you strip it of details to get the polygon count to 100'000k.

Or wait for someone to convert one from another game. Forza 6 coming to PC will bring a lot of new models

there is a poly optimizer tool in 3ds max, and there are more tricks to reduce polys dramatically and still keep pretty much all the detail and quality
