I got GTAV a short few months ago, liked Saints Row better but I also like this LCPFR mod and will probably use the mod more than I will ever use GTAV itself ;) how terrible :P 

I figured out that only certain police stations will let me go on duty, I figured out that the siren and lights are separate keybinds but I also see that activating lights also brings up the car's computer annoyingly so and I am not sure how/why this is happening though I think I read somewhere this only happens with certain mods but I am not running any other mods (yet). 

callouts/dispatch locations only stay on the map for a short time then it disappears and by the time I get there... nothing is happening... what gives? Howcome no other cops are responding to the same location (Yes I know I can call in reinforcements if I need them... but that kinda defeats the point).  Is there a way for the mod to mark the location as a waypoint or something or what??? I find it rather annoying I only have a few seconds to locate it and mark it as the waypoint myself. 

There's A LOT of key commands for this well so there is for GTA-V itself at times. 

I am a careless driver LOL... I can't seem to figure out how to respawn  a new car without going off duty and then back on? Is there a car slot/garage that I can recall a car from anytime I am on duty? 

Oh I know there's probably a lot of answers to these questions already here somewhere too except I am finding a lot of answers for GTAIV instead of V and some things are different for IV than V so hence I ask... but again I am sure there are answers to these questions even for V.

Hi there mynetdude and welcome to the community!

Question 1: There is a useful mod that can help you determine what buttons you need to press for each action in LSPDFR

Here's the link to that mod:

Instructions are enclosed when you download it, in the README, on how to use it.

 

Question 2: You have to press "Y" to accept a callout when it appears in the dispatch box, and that should give you a location. If you so choose, you can way point it by going into you menu, hitting enter inside the map (to bring it full screen), and using "WASD" to move the cursor around. Once you have found a location, hit enter to way point it.

 

Question 3: To spawn cars from anywhere, I would suggest download a "Trainer". A trainer allows you to do different sorts of "administrative" actions, and is strictly forbided in multiplayer. Here is the link to it, and again, the method of installing it is in the README when you download this mod. Otherwise, you must go to a garage to get a car.

you can also use the rockstar plugin to download cars and change weather, etc. just push F4 and type in spawn police, spawn police2, etc. if you need any help just let us know. you do have alot of questions so its best to go one at a time. that way you actually learn while you fix your problems :) also if you have an xbox controller you can use that for the majority of tasks like lights, sirens, pullovers. keep us informed of how you are doing.

Do you use the plugin within the GTAV game itself? 

 

its ok its not too many questions for me but I figured out some of them after I posted LOL 

For some reason it wouldn't tell me to press Y at first; (that's for the others who suggested that) but I still couldn't get to the scene on time) 

I think there's also other mods that have more callouts cuz all I ever get is GTA or resisting arrest, etc... 

But I am figuring things out more and will have to add those two mods mentioned here in this thread :D

Lol I pick and choose here lately. I haven't helped full time in almost a year. But if you have any more questions just lemme know. Also, please please make sure that you make a backup copy of your game before you add more scripts in there OK.
