LSPDFR issues

Featured Replies

Hello,

So great mod, however there are a few quirks that I have ran into that maybe I am missing something.

As far as the game is concerned, I do not actually want to play the story. I am not a GTA fan, its all to vulgar for me. I'm pretty much in it just for LSPDFR, and that is the only way I am playing the game. What I have done is found a saved game that was uploaded online, and loaded the game that way and jumped straight into cop mode. However, I will give details later.

I'm not a novice modder, I have modded a lot of other games just fine. I feel like I am missing something, although I have followed the guide pretty well I think. So first thing I did was install LSPDFR first manually, then made sure that Rage hook was updated by going to the official website.

First things first: I have a legal copy of GTA V non-steam version.

First things first: What is the issue?

1. Shift key does NOT pull over cars

What I have tried IN-game: Reloaded LSPDFR plugin; Reloadedallplugins, tried right--shift and left-shift, and tried the "A" button on the Xbox 360 controller.

2. AI keeps spawning and attacking me endlessly

What I have tried: So from reading online posts, it seems the issue is that it somehow the result of the story line.If I am later in the game, with the main characters are back from exile or something. So my question is, what is a good save game that would allow me to not get targeted by all the AI. Seriously I had an hour worth of combat with GTA crashing because there were too many entities on the screen.

So what additionally have I tried: re-installing ALL my mods, re-installing the game, making sure that none of the keybinds conflicted with the shift key.

Additionally I tried searching for ages on reddit, on lcpdfr, and other websites to see if there were anyone with the same issue. Same solutions include reboot your machine, turn on admin mode, use compatibility mode, etc

I've tried all these solutions

I get that this is Beta, but it works for a lot of people including those on Youtube. So I am not sure what the issue is. I think its something to do with the story mode, I am thinking of using a save game 100% completed since I am not playing the story anyways.

I think that LSPDFR should be a separate thing from the story mode, but I digress.

I love anything with cops in it, and I know I will enjoy driving around giving tickets out and what not.

Any suggestions, or any additional info needed I will be happy to provide. I spent two full days trying to figure this out.

I use the 100% save file.  Think i got it on gta5-mods.com  that should solve your ai problem.  You can go on duty and choose a car fine?
