First time playing the game. already have lspdfr installed ragehook says everything is loaded, but when starting the game I go to the first mission of the game. Not sure what to do other than play the mission.

You have to at least play through the intro mission. I would play until after the first Franklin and Lamar mission is done... Once you are able to free roam, save the game and exit..

and never, ever, ever save on duty. Doing so will corrupt your save.
