HI, guys,

I was install LCPDFR 1.1 today for GTA 4, by copy &  paste all files into GTA 4 game folder( not a auto install). 

every single time, when the game start, there will have an error on the left top of the screen, it says" lcpdfr loader,loader,loader.." I know this file is in scripts folder, even I open task manager by press "~" , type in "reloadscripts" still have an error. I didn't do anything wrong but this is happened. I tried to reinstall LCPDFR still doesn't work.

I find some posters on google there have lot people who has the same issues, I tried some solutions but doesn't help. 

I do believe today we still have some people having the same issues, can someone help me , if you see my poster, please!

If you know how to fix it please help each other out, I really hope my LCPDFR can be fixed.

Please do the following: 

• Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks or people using pirated software
• Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - These patches are needed.  
• Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
• Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
• Ensure that AdvancedHook.dll, ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
• Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
• Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
• Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.

In some cases, your issue is resolved after following the above steps. If it did help, please let everyone know in the topic that your issue is resolved. If you do have to post a topic, do the following;  

• Give a clear, detailed description of the problem.
• Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem.
• State what solutions you have tried.
• Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log).
• Include as much information as possible.
• Post your system specifications.
• Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods.
• Post a screenshot of your GTA IV or EFLC game directory.

Hi, I had the same problem while I was running LCPDFR on Vice City Rage. I spent few months looking for threads about this and finally i followed a simple step that worked for me. 

First, go to "LaunchGTAIV" application, right click on it and go to it's "properties". Then, go to the "Compatibility"  section. There, run the program with compatibility mode for windows 7. Then below that, there is the option to run the program as the administrator, check that box and launch the game. It may not work in the first try but chances of the error not showing will be decreased very much. And also try to load a saved game so when you are playing LCPDFR in the middle and the game crashes, the data gets saved and when you re launch the game it will be loaded with you on the same location where the game last crashed. If you do not have a saved game file then it will crash again and again while trying to restore the crash of LCPDFR. Hope I helped you, Thanks.
