To everyone crashing with RPH .36

Featured Replies

The makers of RPH have apparently found an issue stemming from the last Rockstar update and clashes with the retail version of .36. I'm not a professor of code or anything, so I can't get real specific. Basically, a part of RPH gets access to certain memory from the game which Rockstar has locked down on the CD version that it shouldn't, which results in a memory crash. If anyone gets something in their crash log referring to corrupt memory, this is it.

They seem to have found the issue and will fix it in version .37. I just happened to see this on their forums, and I'm not sure how recent they've found this. But anyone having the issue (me included), hopefully this resolves the issue.

I wonder if this has anything to do with this error:

Failed to create D3D11 device for Grand Theft Auto V: 887a0001

I see this a lot in peoples logs.  Which I believe is a video card issue and its memory.

I don't get this error, but my new modded version, does something strange.  Game loads up fine, but when I hit esc for map, then click on map, it will crash me to desktop (like it minimizes it), but with game still running.  All I do is click back on the game and I am fine.  Still trying to figure that one out, but not high on my list as it takes me a second to click.

I get that all the time and my game runs fine. It usually fails once, then succeeds on the next attempt. I always assumed it's because I run VisualV with ENB and they're both hooking directX.

This is most likely the cause, however RPH always tries over and over so that it can hook after.

Can you link the post you're referencing because I can't find it.

I run visual V and enb on one of my modded folders and havn't had that error or on my new modded folder.

I did read some solutions for it, including updating vid card drivers.  Mostly affects ATI cards. (most radeon) (which I have).  Only thing I didn't check with others is what version of windows they are running.

The issue located, specifically relates to plugins that call World.IsTimeOfDayFrozen, crashing the plugin.
