Car reflection issue

Featured Replies

I'm currently making a police corvette so the more help i get the sooner i can release this bad boy. I'm currently having a lighting issue which i'm addressing in another topic but as of now, whenever i spawn my car in game it seems like the reflections are super harsh.

I added screenshots of what the car looks like in OpenIV compared to in-game.

Manged to fix it no thanks to anybody on here but i'll post the fix here in case somebody needs help.

When turning an existing car model into a cop car, make sure the carvariation entry looks like this:

<indices content="char_array">
            134
            134
            0
            156
          </indices>
          <liveries>

          </liveries>

          <indices content="char_array">
            134
            134
            0
            156
          </indices>
          <liveries>

          </liveries>

          <indices content="char_array">
            134
            134
            0
            156
          </indices>
          <liveries>

          </liveries>

          <indices content="char_array">
            134
            134
            0
            156
          </indices>
          <liveries>

          </liveries>

      </colors>

The numbers represent the colors that the car spawns as. With all of them set as this exact entry it allows your livery to shine on through.
