LCPDFR Not Reading

Featured Replies

Hi, I have all the files, have C++ and the .NET 4, although my folders in GTA IV directory are all "Read-Only" and when I change it to "No" it just goes back to "Read-Only" and I did the Disable UAC but that didn't do anything for the files/folders.

So basically my game isn't reading LCPDFR at all. Probably because it's a Read-Only folder type which I can't seem to change.

I have patch 1.0.4.0 because I am using v0.91 of LCPDFR.

C++ and .NET 4 in the diagnostics report have said it can't find them?

The game runs normal as if it can't see the LCPDFR folder and files in the Scripts folder location.

The report found the LCPDFR folder though for some reason. I'm guessing that leads back to the "Read-Only" issue?

I have run the LaunchGTAIV.exe as Administrator.

Are you using Windows 7? This is a known version for some versions, can't remember which one. Either 32 or 64 bit. There is a way to get by it, if I find the topic, I'll let you know.

But then again, I may not be right.

I am using Windows Vista. I think I have 32 bit if I found that from my system information.

Thanks for your trying to help me.

I can't seem to disable UAC which I want to say is my problem because the READ-ONLY option is a blue square, selected in the box which I cannot change without disabling UAC.
