Vehicle sound help

Featured Replies

Got a quick question here, does anybody know what file is in charge of telling the vehicle what sound it should have? I am experimenting with added police cars to my game instead of replacing, and all is going well except the vehicles that I am adding have no engine sound, or any sound at all really. Like, no closing door sound, blinker sound, nothing. I am sure it is something simple. I assume it is in carvariations.meta or vehicles.meta. Just need default sound from a police cruiser.

I have solved my own problem, inside the corresponding vehicles.meta. there is a section called <AudioNameHash>. I had to change that to sheriff, since that is what the model was originally supposed to replace.

So it looks like  <audioNameHash>MODELNAME</audioNameHash>
