Failed Zlib Call error

Featured Replies

I read another thread about how to resolve this issue, and have been unsuccessful. I removed all mods and tried to run it as vanilla GTA, and it's still crashing. I also verified the game using Steam (which re-downloaded 4GB worth of files). Is there another way to fix this without reinstalling the whole game? I should also note the last mod I installed was some police uniforms. That in itself wouldn't cause this error, would it?

I too had this issue after installing some ped skins (real gangs)... I'm not sure how exactly some skins did this, but for one reason or another I had to get rid of them. I verified integrity of game cache through Steam, and this fixed my issue. This is also what Rockstar has said to do for this issue. However, you say this did nothing for you... Strange. I'll try to dig around a little further. Let me know if you get it working.

Currently getting the same error (sorry a lil late to the party here) and can confirm, verifying through rockstars services does not fix the problem.

Game only seems to crash when I “forceduty” LSPDFR then I get the error. I’m going to reinstall LSPDFR here and I’ll get back to you and tell you if this fixed it at least for me.
