Cant Launch LSPDFR. Help Please!

Featured Replies

I'm having problems even playing LSPDFR. To my understanding, I have done everything I need to do to launch it. I start the game by launching the RageHook as admin. (Im using the 2.9 version. Is there a specific version of Ragehook I need to use?) The game starts up just like the normal GTA, I click story mode, and it loads and starts me out as Franklin. The problem is, there are no Police Badges on the map. If I drive to a police station, the option to go on duty does not show up. I've also seen things about clicking F4 to bring up some command thing, and nothing happens when I click F4. I have not gotten to use this Mod one time and I've spent 3 days trying to figure this out now. I'll attach a pic of my GTA folder here. Am I missing something? If I am, what is it, and how can I get/download it? Ive unblocked all .dll and .exe files, as well as have the up to date versions of the .NET and C++. No idea what I'm doing wrong...I just want to play LSPDFR.

What kind of installer did you use for the LSPD FR, did you use a automatic or manual one?

If automatic, try doing a manual install instead but before that do an uninstall of the current LSPD FR you have before the manual install.

Hope it works out for you!

For some reason your RPH is not loading the mod it looks like.  Can you send a Screenshot of you plugins AND lspdfr folders.

First pic is of plugins. When you go to Plugins>LSPDFR there is nothing in that folder. Am I supposed to move those two .dll files to the folder?

I don't think this is the LSPDFR folder you meant but im sending it incase it is for some reason. This second picture is just from clicking on LSPDFR folder from the root directory of GTA V. It goes LSPDFR>Police Scanner....then this is the police scanner folder. There was no other folder than police scanner

Also, Not sure if it should still be doing this, But when I load the Rage Hook, it does not go down to the bottom left part of the screen and say "enjoy" at the bottom. Should it not be doing that or is that a sign that something is wrong?

what version of GTA are you running?

Just downloaded it off Steam a couple days ago. Looks like 1.0.573.1

Okay. Just wanted to say I finally fixed my problem and got it working. Not sure if this was the difference, I guess it was, but after I had first installed the game, the very first thing I did was copy a backup file incase anything ever went wrong. The whole time I was trying to get LSPDFR to work, I was trying to use my backup file (which I would think would be the exact same thing) Nonetheless, I just moved all my LSPDFR stuff to my original file that downloaded on my PC, and kept the backup file as....only backup...and just made sure I unblocked all the .dll and .exe files again, and wallah. It worked.
