I just started up GTA IV and when the people screen shows up the animations keep going

It's been an hour and the same people slides keep cycling.

What should I do?

    Restart the game.

    Did you install any mods before it happened, if so, un-install that/those and try again.

    I have tried restarting the game 3 times already, and no I have been using the same mods for a couple weeks

    Remove all mods you have installed, if it works clean, then install one mod at a time, then checking if the game works, move on to the next, do so until all your mods are installed.

    If it doesn't work when they're un-installed, then re-install the game, then install any mods you may need one at a time, checking if it works, then moving on to the next. Continue to do so until you find the mod(s) causing the problem(s).

    Thanks but I reinstalled my game and it works fine now!
