Police 3 lightbar not working correctly after update...

Featured Replies

So I finally managed to get my game to stop crashing and working correctly after all the new updates and everything, only thing is now the police3 slot where I have the impala installed is not working correctly...the lights on the lightbar dont really flash and half of them are not working...any suggestions to why all the sudden this would happen? I havent changed anything as far as cars or graphic mods in atleast a month or more and it was working fine before update.

Did you use OpenIV to modify files? and did you modify the files before the last GTAV update?

Yes I use OpenIV to modify them, and I had changed some stuff up maybe a month or longer ago but it was working just fine well before the update came out.

Before you do anything, make a copy of the Update.rpf currently sitting in your mods folder first and put it on the desktop in a folder in case this doesn't fix the issue for you.. you can add it back..

Okay you have to go back into your main GTAV Folder and copy the Update.rpf file from the Updates Folder and re-add it to the mods folder, let it overwrite, the unfortunate side of things, you may have to re-mod those files again.. Basically any files you added to the mods folder and modded with OpenIV before the GTAV update you have to bring back in to the mods folder and trust me you won't be the first to have to do this. nobody is happy to hear that.. you can thank Rockstar for that..

Relaunch RageHook and see if it works for you..

Every time GTAV updates you will have to remember to do this.. and its going to suck until R* makes it so their updates don't screw with the modding community.. I won't hold my breath on that.

Sorry for all the edits.. I wanted to word things properly as not to confuse.
