Mods installed but do not load.

Hello, I have the latest version of GTA V purchased from Rockstars site. I have downloaded a crown vic mod. The ytd and ytf files are installed. When I click on them the crown vic appears. However when I load the game I still get the original police cruiser. I have no idea what to do, I have watched the tutorials on youtube and do everything they said. Obviously I am doing something wrong. And yes  the asi is installed.

I would appreciate any help you can provide me with. Thanks.

here is the path I used. C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GtaV2\Grand Theft Auto V2\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\

V2 is a copy of the original file I use for mods.

Make a folder called mods in your gta folder, then take the files you need to replace such as Update folder, x64 folder, and the .RPF files and copy them in the mods folder.
