This has probably been a common problem. Sorry I have been away from development for a couple of months I'm usually ok at working this stuff out for myself but I have tried everything! 

Got newest rage and LSPDFR. I just deleted all mods accept lspdfr. I'm lost!

This happened to me the other day, turns out I fucked up the carvariations.dat file when installing a car mod. 

Have you done something like that?

Possibly I have got a 'mods-update' folder I've installed a police car in. Should I try deleting that?

Copy it so you can put it back if it doesn't work, then try loading the game without it.
