Skylift service / aerial impound

Featured Replies

I was on patrol one day when I encountered a shootout in the middle of the road. I pulled up, got out and fired upon them, killing them both. While bullets were flying, a garbage truck becomes the center of a massive traffic jam as a result of the shootout. The dumb AI driver exits the truck and runs away. Now as well as having two dead bodies to take care of (I use the PoliceRadio for coroners) I have to impound this truck as well. The tow trucks (also provided with PoliceRadio) can't tow lorries, so I ended up surrendering the roleplay and spawned a Cargobob, picked up the truck and threw it into the sea nearby. Unrealistic, yes, but that's the hardships of LSPDFR for ya'.

So I thought it would be great if there was a plugin (or a feature in an existing plugin) that offers a service similar to the tow truck but with the Skylift or Cargobob instead. Flies to the scene, descends on the selected vehicle, picks it up and flies away. It would help especially if tow trucks can't get to where I'm standing because of "traffic congestion".
