Hi Lot of you might remember I did gta4 texturing

I see that there is a lotta modded cars comng out for gta 5  now :-D 

wondering if any1 could help me please get started in texturing for gta5 like I did for gta 4  been outta it a while due to lifes curve balls and for most part not good 1's

It's exactly the same process as it was for IV, just with some different templates.


what about the importing / exporting what type of file types  I use GIMP

PNGs, just like GTA IV. Like I said, it's literally the same process. The only thing that is completely different is the directories of the cars in OpenIV and the file formats (now yfts and ytds instead of wft and wtds).

oh ok thnkz I was wondering from really early on right round when lspdfr was 1st released if you still had to convert from .dds and all

Whats the Difference between  doiing the  hi def textures and the standard textures and do you gotta do anything special f any1 knows
