listed above are the two vehicles i want to modify. 

here are some options i am considering

1. i want the steering wheel and interior from the 1999 vehicle

as it is more detailed and more round, (other one is not as detailed) on the 2011 model

2.  i want the 2011 mesh grille to replace the chrome bar grille, is there anyway to do that operation? 

3. i also want to move the rims of the 1999 car onto the 2011 if that is possible.

4. also maybe the broken brakelight texture from the 2011 to the 1999 as the 1999 one has nothing under it, no texturing

5. i want to move the flex fuel logo, the mesh grille, on to the 1999 car and remove the chrome below the brakelights

5. i want to move the interior and rims of the 1999 model to the 2011

 

any programs, tips or advice i can use?

do i need to remodel cars all over again?

and essentially what i am saying is that the 2011 model has a better exterior while the 199 has better interior, anyway to move 1999 interior to 2011 exterior?

Pros 2011:

Good headlight and brakelight Modeling

good pushbar texture

detailed interior but not hd, has radio, siren etc.

Cons:

Interior not very HD,

mirrors are not shiny 

I personally think rims are too vague

no interior searchlight handle

the searchlights turn on with the headlights

Pros: 1999:

Good Interior

I personally like rims better

Cons: 

Bad light modeling, e.g when shot brakelights are empty with nothing inside, and when side headlight is shot is becomes black

no other pushbar.

no mesh grille (personal opinion) :)

no lighting of gauges

pushbar is floating if front bumper is missing

However both are very good models, i just prefer better interiors because i play majority in first person

You may ask the makers of this model and see if they are up for the changes. Some makers might get pretty upset on other people making changes to the mods. Also, it's not allowed for another modder to mod another persons mod of the status is locked. Just saying my friend, just ask for there permission first.
